WESTERN
CANADA OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE offers mobile wilderness fishing
tours with licensed guides. Your host is Gunter Zweifler - a
registered, licenced fishing guide with 21 years experience.
Our success is due to the large size of our fishing territory
and the mobile nature of our camps. Our fishing territory encompasses
six watersheds which include: 60 rivers, streams and lakes and
streches from Northwestern British Columbia to the Yukon border.
These extensive boundaries enable our clients to move to clean
water and good fishing. With our vast territory we can successfully
fish Salmon from mid May to the end of October. Mobile camps
afford our clients the opportunity to see and experience the
beauty of Northwestern British Columbia. Driving between the
many rivers and camping areas give our clients the chance to
photograph the magnificent scenery and wildlife of our area.
The
enjoyment of your holiday is our prime concern. To achieve this,
we choose to guide small groups of 2-4 people. We are mobile to take
advantage of the best fishing conditions.
We
supply your accomodation and three meals a day. The fishing methods
may include: walk-in to rivers/lakes, jet boat and drift boat, lake
trolling, float tubes, saltwater trolling and jigging, float planes,
horseback or helicopter.
At
the end of your holiday, we hope you have enjoyed the spectacular
scenery, wildlife, great fishing and overall Western Canada Wilderness
Experience.

Fishing
uncrowded rivers in North B.C.
for Wild Steelhead and Salmon

Steelhead
fishing tours, April - May and September - October. During this time
of year the rivers are clean and low on water. This is the time when
we guide our clients on beautiful and pristine rivers for wild steelhead.
In spring we fish coastal streams and these tours can be combined
with lake fishing for trout.
September
- October
can be combined with salmon fishing on different rivers. We can successfully
fish for steelhead on three different watersheds in northern BC.

Trolling
- Casting - Fly Fishing
Northwest
B.C. - Remote Lakes and pristine Rivers
Mid May - July

Northwestern
British Columbia offers an incredible amount of rivers, lakes and
streams which have plenty of trophy Rainbow Trout, Rocky Mountain
Whitefish and Burbot. Our weekly trips will bring you to remote areas
where we will camp on different lakes and streams. In a short time
we are able to reach eight different lakes and two streams and also
the world famous Rainbow Alley for fly fishing on Babine Lake.
Each
two people will have access to a motorboat and your guide will lead
you to the best fishing spots. We may walk into remote, beautiful
little lakes as well. These lakes have an abundance of Cutthroat
and Rainbow trout which will be fished from either shore or out of
belly boats. Fly fishing at Rainbow Alley will be done out of jet
or motorboats.
